What’s your favourite dish? 

My 'campervan casserole' is my all time favourite.  Chorizo, chick peas, tomatoes, chili and paprika... heartwarming stuff.

Japanese.

My neighbours at The Fumbally.

Best place to grab lunch in Ireland?

For a posh nosh up I love to go to One Pico.

Best place to have dinner in Ireland?

Ballymaloe House.

Best place to get coffee in Ireland?

3FE.

Best place to get a cocktail in Ireland?

It was the Secret Cocktail Bar in Ranelagh, but that’s sadly gone now. Now, I head to Dillinger's in Ranelagh for ‘Margherita Mondays’ with my pals.

Best shop/ supermarket to grab bits for a home-cooked dinner?

Lawlor's in Rathmines.

Do you have a favourite recipe book?

The Surf Café Book from Sligo.

Favourite restaurant you’ve ever been to?

EN, a Japanese place in Midtown in New York.

What city, from your travels, has the best food?

Rome.

What’s your favourite ingredient to use in cooking?

Chilli.

Best place (or website) to get gorge bits for the kitchen?

The thoughts of having to buy ‘bits’ for the kitchen fills me with fear... I’m not into ‘bits’ really at all. I buy as little as possible and have little or nothing on show in my kitchen.

Favourite dessert?

My mum’s Bread and Butter pudding.

Favourite tipple?

I’m a beer girl, so it’s always a Heineken for me. Or, nowadays, a Heineken Light.

What six people would make up your dream dinner party?

I’d invite 7, just in case 1 can’t make it: Chris Rock, Logan Paul, Barack Obama, Vivienne Westwood, Juliette Lewis, Iris Apfel & David Bowie.

What food/ ingredient do you detest?

Anchovies.
